Softened the edges of the buildings in the background, which changed the atmosphere & created more distance. "Merci" also to Richard for a fun workshop & to Michael for good suggestions (see the first post of this painting)!

Thank you so much everyone for all your lovely comments! It's only because I followed Richard's video that this painting came out like this :) Actually, Sharon, I think the photo is a little bit over-exposed, which makes that glowing effect more pronounced.
