9x12 Oil on textured panel Plein air with Laura . It was fun but challenging because the wind was strong blowing from SF to San Jose. I had to hold to my panel to keep it from blowing away and Laura's easel was vibrating and moving around. I did the basic painting in 2 hours but added form and details at home.

Thanks Britt ! It is a weird place where the wind comes up in the middle of the day from cool SF to warm San Jose so it blows as the day heats up. Inside the car it looks calm but outside . . . oh my !
Nice! My favorite parts are where the grays meet the more saturated colors. It doesn't look windy to me (because of the misty look).
Thank you Linda, Laura,Aurelia,Ruby,Steinunn, Jessica, John, Silvana and Michael ! I appreciate your comments and encouragement, it means alot to me to have great friends. I think that my own style of painting is developing from going out and trying to do it directly from mother nature. Michael if you come down we will definitely paint. I would just like to stand quietly behind you and watch, your plein air is amazing
Good job Ann. Wish I could join you guys!!!
Great Ann!!!!
Very much like the composition and 'feel' of it, good color too...
Beautiful scene & especially like the lovely colour in the foreground grasses. Sounds like it was quite a challenge to paint with such a strong wind, so congratulations on your stamina!
This is a beautiful en plein air painting Ann, one can feel the freshness in the air from your colors. Lucky your not to loose it in the wind!
beautiful!!!
Lovely painting. Nice composition.
