The everglades are slowly disappearing in Florida, but there is one enormous part called Loxadahatchee in the center of Florida. The subject matter is endless. I look forward to comments. I am happy with parts of this and will likely try again

I just love this one - so loose and yet precise.  I always watch for your paintings.

Love the composition and generally feel this is an inspiring painting.  the left side distant hills jump out at me though, maybe could be toned down.

Thanks for getting back to me about keeping all the paintings up. I have fiddled a bit with the original, will now photo it and see if it shows the difference, then post it. It is good to look at your work in a photo - if there is naything wrong it seems magnatized

Hi Elfrida, lovely painting I agree with Michael you could have a fabulous spotlight on that central tree if you make the right hand side subordinate to it....If you delete your old photo you will lose your 2 likes.  I think that you should leave all the paintings on show,so that we can see your journey through the challenge:-))

Thank you Michael so much for your comment. I agree about the trees on the left. Toning it down should help direct toward the focal point more. So far the only alligators i have seen have been in the stretches of water...but you never know! Does any one happen to know if we change something and want to add the changed one into the final challenge if there is a way to remove the original?

Lovely painting Elfrida! ..  I like your split complimentary color scheme and how you moved the blue/violet sky color into the landscape .. but not overdone!  I like your gradation on the road ... it takes you into the painting very nicely...adds to the depth of the painting.  This seems to be a very straight forward, happy painting ...maybe just tone down the tree on the right and let the left small tree sing?  Maybe the light path could be more subtle? ..I guess?  This is a real nice painting ... like it!!  When you painted this, did you have to look over your shoulder for alligators?  ...not joking.
