We have been having clear blue skies during this summer weather in January. Finally, we had a cloudy sunset. This was a rushed painting as a result. The horizon line is slanting in this photo, but not in the painting...too late to take another.

Thank you Ruby.  Hey, did you paint that eye" ?  It is fabulous!  I used to drive my kids nuts because I loved drawing eyes on scratch pads as I was yacking on the phone.  It freaked them out.

This is very beautiful, simple and realistic, I love the colors and the sun's reflection in the water!  The clouds are very nice, too.
