I started my Workshop 3 painting with the usual happy vigor and was quite happy with the distant mountains. However, I continued next day, obviously in different mood .... and messed up! I think it was wrong to use only palette knife so I'll be trying another painting this week, smaller, and using more brushwork.
I took about 9 pics of this painting as an exercise in composition - and the second pic I uploaded here (with less spikey trees on the bottom left and right) is the one I think has the better composition.
And so we trot on ........ loads and loads to learn :o)
