Thanks, Silvana! I like painting houses/farms more than anything - maybe it's a desire for a warm, cosy roof over my head!

Nice feeling of chill in this painting. If you do it again you might want to leave out the whitish marks in the foreground they are in a line and detract.

Very nice Jon!!  Your atmosphere in this piece is outstanding!!!   Keep this in mind Jon ...a scene usually requires a "horizontal Stabilizer" ......a level line, somewhere, to keep us oriented in an even keel.

I love it Jon! I specially like the smoke coming out from the chimney! It makes that house seem very cozy.

Thanks Laura. I might do it again bigger - I thought the composition was promising - need to work on the color and paint handling, I guess (and not put those blobs in if I do it again!)

The frost on the grass, the smoke from chimney make a lovely winter scene. Beautiful Jon!
