Following a number of helpful suggestions I changed some of my paintings details but kept the ones I liked. The rock in the ocean was scaled down, and the foreground cliff was darkened and sharpened with more detail and highlights. I especially like the effect on the foreground cliff. This workshop was very helpful and I gained quite a bit of knowledge and a different perspective in presenting my work. Thanks to all!

Hi Debbie!  This is very nice, agree with Michael and Susan about your foreground cliff, great!  I have to readdress my little rock cropping too...mine is too light!

Very nice, the front cliff is expecially well done!!!

Debbie, you have a very good painting here ..I especially love your handling of the foreground cliff ..very luminous. I am still concerned about your small rock.  I feel you have substituted the original (over sized) rock, with one that has a  .....well ....not very good looking shape.  May I suggest that you rethink the shape of that rock and make it a more interesting .."attractive"  shape.
