Again I went to Eidi and selected the right hand sight view.
The big rock is called Stóri Örn and stands by itself in the sea.
I took over an hour to paint and had a bit of a problem with it,
I should have had a smaller brush for the rock and softer or more bluish colors but I used the same large brush for the whole painting. One could say it being a challenge to put all the information down in such a short time. Again I painted in the car as the wind was really blowing.

Yes, Karlo I think most of do feel some kind of pressure but as you say, it is a very good exercise and it teaches us to study the view in front of us before we stand. You are dong a great work too Karlo!
It's a good painting, I like the rocks an the sky is fabulous. I would though, change the brush strokes in order to represent the water. As they are now it kind of get confused especially with the pier texture.
Fantastic work
Yes I feel the same with my work ! But as i understood we can work more then 1 hour (but minimum around 1 hour), so you do not need to feel presure, Even so I find this 3 days paintings looked better before I "finished" them. but sometimes it is really great to add some strokes with knife or brush which are missing.. I feel also my concentration is not enough .. but this is great way to improve it ...
Thank you so much for your comment Karlo, I was getting too tired in the end when I was working on the sea and an hour had already passed.
This was a big day for me, first golf and after that out to paint!
Congratulation Steinunn ! Beautifull skay and rocks, It would be interesting to try more colors and values in the sea.
