Beautiful and peaceful. Your glowing effect on the foreground and the tree is excellent. I appreciate your effort to make the color from warm to cool temprature up to the tips of the grass. Those details shows the attitude of an artist. This is a fine art.

Dear Lori, If I stoped and analyse your beautiful painting is becouse it catch my attention. I tried meny times to obtain a late sunset where the darkness concur the light and cover all gestures of people around a fire or around a imaginative round table whyle expressing ideas and wishes bla bla bla....when everithing is directed to poetry. Your painting should be compleated with such place in the area between the two trees and right hand grass. Just purple fire and human shadows? Please try! And also plese eliminate the blue color from the foreground big cloud and replace it with dark shade of violet or broun-gray, etc. This will give better perspective.

Dark color is great in a painting but difficult to achieve. You did it with much talent!

I love the sky and the reflection on the water! This is so beautiful and makes me want to try pastels!
