I've used 2 old photos as reference for this painting plus... some imagination. I love boats but I've found them pretty hard to paint..keep trying...

Wow Cristina!! ..Now this is an impressionist painting!!!   Dancing brushstrokes of complimentary color everywhere!  You are "Dancing with the  Brush" ..my friend!!!  Very nice composition.

Yep, they are pretty hard to paint....I should draw them first, this is an alla prima painting.

I love your style with the little brush strokes.  I can't seem to get that down.  I like your shadowing of the red boat and reflection into the water.  What you need to work on is the drawing of the boats.  It IS very hard.  What you can do is grid the photo and trace it onto the canvas.  Keep painting!  Never stop!
