Nap Time..

I've used 2 old photos as reference for this painting plus... some imagination. I love boats but I've found them pretty hard to paint..keep trying...

Yep, they are pretty hard to paint....I should draw them first, this is an alla prima painting.

I like your shadowing of the red boat and reflection into the water. What you need to work on is the drawing of the boats. It IS very hard. What you can do is grid the photo and trace it onto the canvas. Keep painting! Never stop!
