This was another final (I promise) attempt at a green apple. It is just so difficult trying to leave those brush strokes alone. I sort of got carried away on this assignment, but I really wanted to understand how to do this.

I had hoped to get that loose brush work effect. It is difficult for me. I keep wanting to smooth everything out something like rendering a drawing. Hard to break that life long habit. Thank you.

Thank you Michael. I kept seeing red in the cast shadow...which is why it is there. I guess t had something to do with the complement of the green apple.
