On the dark side

Well, the block-in looked reasonably promising (lots of the orange underpainting showing through) - but I didn't seem to be able to pick up again after the holiday...

Comment by Lori Ippolito on April 7, 2017 at 4:21: I really like the way you've indicated the shadow on the roof and the way the lighter part of the building contrasts..same for grasses..I think maybe you might darken some of the shadow side of the rocks a bit more in line with the way the grass is darker there..loving the sky and midground trees..great broken color there..don't give up this is a winner!!
