'nother effort for the workshop. Spent a lot of time on it - there were maybe moments where I was closer to where I wanted to go - but I was never sure where that was! - learnt some points with the finishing details... oil on canvas 50 x 60 cm

Thanks, Lori!
this is quite appealing!! Great bold colors..i'd take a look at the reflections..i think they need to be less "solid" since the water must be rippling a bit..and maybe a touch lighter in value so they look IN the water. I love the orange floats
I hate thèse touche screens i mean!!!
Tanks, ningning - rive only got a iPad cos moving house cant type - hate
Strong impact and beautiful colour contrast. Jon, I noticed that you used to paint very soft colour and then you started to use high chroma and strong contrast in value and colour like this one. They look beautiful and very impressive.
Thanks, Jennifer, good point. Actually, I don't know if it's a good subject for broken color - if I develop it I think I'll make it all low key except the boats
heh heh - lot of time on this one = not as usual!
Well then I wish I could hurry up! You said you spent a lot of time and I believed you! Smiles :-)
Hi, Dor - that would be good - I think I go too fast normally - need to be more 'considered'
