Very nice Pandalana!! I really like the "air" you put into your background.

Well done.  I wish that I had the time to devote to a painting a day.

Well Pandalana... I envy you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You ARE really organized! If I had to describe where I have got my things, I would have to name almost every place in my house. And next month , it woud be a totally different description... :) !!!!

I have once read that if you look at anyone's painting, you can tell many things about the person. I suppose it is sth similar to one's handwriting... and I must admit, your paintings show your organization!

Thank you Saghi, Jessica, and Silvana.  Yes Silvana:

I am very, very organized.  :D

My studio is very organized.  Paints are in clear boxes, organized by color.  I have a large table with a built in easel (hand made-second hand-got it for a steal and LOVE it - 6 feet by 27 inches)  I have a large piece of cut plexi-glass on one end for paint, and it addition to the built in easel in the middle, it will hold another 2 or 3 table easels.  The table has a shelf under it...all of my paints and brushes (organized in jars by type of brush, stiff, soft, ect)  are there, and other art supplies are in boxes under the table shelf.

I bought one of those large industrial shelves from the home improvement store...and all of my mediums, varnishes, etc are on one shelf...smaller canvases, up to 16x20 are one one shelf, papers on the top shelf, and misc art supplies ie, pan pastels, and rags are on the bottom shelf.

I am using the spare bedroom, so I converted the closet into just shelves (I removed the clothes rod and put in 2 of those large "put it together yourself" plastic shelves.  On one side is all of my larger blank canvases and on the bottom shelf all of my paper pads, and on the other shelf in the closet is completed work.  I also have one of those smallish old wooden book shelves, that I put all of shipping supplies on.

Stacked against my larger shelf in the studio is a homemade canvas dryer...I took 3 over the door metal and plastic shoe racks and turned the upside down and attached them to a 8 foot piece of plywood.  So when the smaller paintings are drying that is where they go.

My desk is in the corner with some art books and the phone.  And on the wall under the window I have an old long drop leaf table that I cover with kraft paper.  One half of it I use for shipping, and the other half I have a still life shadow box set up.  On the second wall are 2 large standing easels.  And on another wall are 2 drawing table (one is really small and old and wood but works great)

Clear boxes and shelf space is the key.  And I use every inch of space I can, and everything has a place. ...even the wall is used: Larger canvas are hung on the wall while drying. (you can barely walk around the room...lol!)

I am almost always working on more than one painting (or other artwork) at a time..and am almost always covered in paint or pigments of one kind or another lol!.  I usually have 4 or 5 at once going, and I try to draw for at least 30 minutes a day as well.  I try to get ahead in case I can't paint that day.  But, this is 365 paintings in 365 days, so if I miss a day, and I am not ahead, I can just paint an extra one the next day...so it is ok.  :D

:)!!! It is really great Pandalana! Now, what happens if one day you do not get to paint???? You must be a veeery organized person!

The jar is also beautiful!  And you portrayed the "fuzziness" expertly - I noticed it before reading your learning points!
