A first go - my paints are still wet and my brushes are still full of paint - if you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate, I can still change it easily. I had a tough time with different values of orange paint and with getting the jug to look round - which it doesn't.

Hi Jane, Thanks for the suggestions. This isn't really finished so I'll try to apply the tomorrow. I totally agree about the whites - I'll see what I can do.  This was really hard for me - I will probably try another one, since for once I'm not doing it at the last minute. Between mixing the various tints and shades of white and orange and trying not to lose the drawing I was pulling my hair out.

Hi Casey.  I really like what you have done. Nice dramatic lighting, beautiful oranges, nicely formed pitcher, good choice of background color.  There are only two little things I would change; 1) the pitcher looks like it is floating, maybe just a slight alteration of the tabletop shadow to anchor it to the table.  2) I like a slightly warmer white. (I would have added a little yellow/orange to tint the whites.) This is my preference and your shading on the whites is really good. This is just a suggestion.  I really like your painting.  Also I'm impressed that you completed it so quickly. Bravo!
