My mother also influenced my art. She took painting lessons much of her life and arranged oil painting lessons for me when I was 9. Regrettably, I only have one of her paintings although my sisters have several. My grandkids range from 2 to 8 and 4 out of the five do paint and draw; too soon to tell about the 2 year old. Maybe I never pushed my kids, and my wife does nothing artistic, but that is life and they have many other interests.
