Hi Thomas, I like your use of gradation for the foreground and background ..very good. The edge between the pear shape and the apple shape are incorrect. As it is now, the apple does not sit behind the pear, but is merged with it. I think you need to darken the shadow side of the apple ...that way, the contrast will bring the pear in front of the apple. Also, soften the edges of your grape highlights so it merges into the grape color .. ..THEN, put a spot of light on top of that. The technique is best described: Make it, then break it, then make it again. ...Same thing with the apple ..you kind of did it with the pear.
