REES VALLEY Take 1

Acrylic on canvas 16x20 , I hope to attempt this again and resist the urge to dab with the small brush!!! Acrylic has been difficult new medium for me, are oils easier???

Comment by Jane Albin on November 13, 2011 at 3:37: I started with acrylics before switching to oils. I like oils better. I have a friend here who uses the water based (sp.) oils. He paints en plein air most of the time and usually in oils. But he took the water based ones on his last painting vacation and loves them. He liked not having to find a supplier for medium after the plane ride. The colors look the same as his regular oil paintings.
