We have Cherry blossoms that fill the park in spring..they look like cotton candy! I can imagine what you were seeing. In spite of your reservations, this came out really well..your work reminds me of what I'd see in book illustrations..I like it!!

Thank you, Lori!  I tried to do an acrylic of this scene and just didn't turn out well so maybe will try watercolor.  The blossoms were white & just SO beautiful.
