This is the faux bricks I painted. The picture does not do justice, the bricks are not that red and the highlights are more prominent in reality. But it was fun to do!

:-) Like someone sitting comfortably, staring out the window and suddenly catching sight of a (slightly bloody) hand sticking through the wall as if asking for help :-))) ok, maybe not THAT spooky. I also did the outer part of the wall so now it looks like it was made of bricks. And I still have the other doorway to do.

The part that is so good is all the bricks are so irregular. Very natural. /// I am trying NOT to think about that hand coming out of the wall....spooky is right! But, If I were going to do something like that, I would place it where it is all but not noticable. You know, where the person has been in the room for a bit and THEN notices it! LOL (My old is showing up now.....ewwwwww.....he he he he)

Really?? Do you have a picture of that? I have another one, part of wall that is exposed bricks. :-) I was thinking about painting a break in the wall with a hand sticking out ... .:-)
