Thank you, Timothy, for your appreciation.
Vida and Barbara, I also thank you to help me for my workshop4 improving.
Thank you for your comment. Nancy also pointed it out. I will grey down those shadows.Merry Christmas!
Nice! I think the saturated blue you used for the shadows under the tree is really brave, I wouldn't have dared:)
It works really well, nice painting!
nice job Li!! Love the value balance that you have found. Also a nice warm/cool balance. I would have like to seen a little more movement; maybe some grass on top of the rocks being blown by the wind. very good job tho.
Li, I like the play of warm and cool colors here and nice loose foliage. I think you could vary the size of the foliage clumps to create more variation in the tree. I like the subdued green/brown grassy area on top of the rocks as well and the way you opened up the scene a bit. For me the photos felt too cramped. You pulled the sea back a bit opening up space for the viewer to come into the painting with ease. Have a wonderful New Year Celebration and Holiday season.
Thank you Annie for your nice comment. You also gave me chance to look at your work. I will comment on your job soon. Merry Christmas to you and your family too.
Hi Li Ningning This is lovely I really like the bright light of the sand and the shadows have a lovely Christmas
