You are welcome, we help each other. Did you see Richard's demo video for this workshop4? I did not find it. Hope you and your family have a happy Christmas and New Year too.

Thanks so much for you comments Li Ninging . I like the peaceful mind comment especially at this busy time. Funny a lot of people say things like that to me. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New year. Will look forward to the next challenge

Annie, I like your painting. Why? you painting shows a peaceful mind. Everything is easy and natural including the color you applied and brush strocks. You pay attention to the subtle variety of values. It showed in you painting everywhere.  I also like your knife works on the rocks, waves and even leaves of the flower tree. Very nice. I just learned how to use knife to paint waves. I labered and struggled to finish my work.  I need to paint more to be sure and easy.  If I be picky. I would say that your ¨Notan¨ contrast could be a bit stronger. But in this case, it seems not easy as the water is blue and rock is not white, it would be not natural looking if put ether one a lighter color.  Nice painting!

Nice painting Annie. I saw the pohutukawa flowers and thought you must be a fellow Kiwi! I had in mind to put the flowers in mine too and notice them flowering on Richard's latest photo of the area.
