Thank you Collen Maria and Laura for your encouragement.
And thank you Joy for your helpful comments - I will certainly re look at the scene with your advice in mind.
I kept the foreground in shade as I wanted the sun to catch the cliffs and valley and give more of a spotlight effect
but it probably needs some adjusting. So much teaching information these days - it all gets rather confusing at times!.
Also will re photograph the painting as the camera has picked up a lot of blue and in reality the colours are not as bright.
