Patagonia

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Chile, including some time in the south (Patagonia). This painting is of the Petrohué rapids, a gorgeous spot where the water is known for its brilliant turquoise colour. We were blessed with a perfect sunny sky for an entire day when we toured this spectacular area.

Kevin, it would be a fabulous place for hiking & painting, provided you got good weather! We were told it rains 2 out of 3 days there. On a sunny day like we had, some of the lakes with volcanoes & the Andes in the background look almost unbelievably beautiful!
