What a nice way to wake up!!!! So many comments! Thanks for them! When I decided to start painting I said that I would never want to paint exactly as what it is... because for that were the cameras... I was wrong... I want to paint as if I were a camera... I have realized that that is quite impossible for me though... I tend to place my touches, which is what I wish without looking at the pics, and I never get to make an exact copy!!! I have the theory that if I manage to paint whatever I see well, then I'll be able to invent whatever I wish too!!!! As my husband says... always the most complex pathway....!!!!

Making many studies sounds great! But I think that I'll be always thinking on ... now, am I ready for the complete piece? Lol,I prefer having imperfect complete pieces!!!! Though Thomas, don't take me wrong, it's just the way I am!

BTW, I did tweak it a bit more, added some dark warm grey which found on the palette and hadn't used it...And tried with those poplars again... don't see much the difference, but I will leave it for some days now! Lol! I am thinking that I could also change its name to Patagonian Autumn with itsgeometrical vegetation!!! :) :D :) !!!!

Dear Silvana, this is really a very nice one. Very good on depth and the color contrast!!!  Well done!!  I have only one suggestion.  I think the edge and the color contrast on the orange trees are a little too strong and make them look like rocks instead of soft trees.   Your mountain is wonderful!!

Nice one Silvana! Like the background in particular.
To become better in painting i read everywhere to do many studies instead of finished pieces is by far the best way. And to cry out each time: i swear i did not work on it! ;-)

Wonderful painting, Silvana!  A few more touches to those treetops will help with realism - great sense of place & atmosphere & drama of nearing that beautiful mountain range.

Good depth of color in this painting. It is a nice balance of oranges, purples and greens. Your mountain looks nice and solid with great abstract shapes. The fence line and road give us a good lead in. You might want to check your tree shapes. You tend to paint triangle trees or modified rectangles. The trees have a variety of color and shape within the tree but do some negative painting to abstract the outside shape of the tree. Think positive and negative shapes( the tree shapes themselves and the shape between the trees) The shadow on the road needs to be lightened slightly.
