I like this painting. I agree with Nancy. But I also be moved by your personality. Your persistence, I mean,never give up easily.

Very nice and impressionisticI I love all your various colors in the pears and the reflected colors in the cloth and the jug. I thin the background to the right needs to be darker and to the left lighter in order to give that dramatic look.. but I am totally new to this and am just amazed at all the lovely entries! Your work is exciting and energetic! I hope you do the next workshop :)

thanks stu - quite a bit out of my comfort zone but it was fun - the set up is still in my studio and i keep thinking i'll rearrange it and have another go - maybe change the jug or the lighting...

Oh, I see!  Sometimes the photo doesn't show things like the original painting.  Well, it is very soft and "painterly" which I like.  I tend to paint more definate, but am trying to loosen up, I will try more on my next one.
