Japanese Anemones, cropped from a photo from PMP http://pmp-art.com/nicola-b/gallery/140189/japanese-anemonies 6" x 6" Water Soluble Oils. Note, I had in the little flickers of light at the top right of the reference phot, but when I shot the pic, it looked like a little ugly garden elf, so I wiped them out!

Thanks Walda! Sure is, and so fortunate!
Congrats on getting a critique!! isn't it fun.
Hi Steinunn! I don't really think so, as I just laid these petals in thick and didn' use medium there.
Well done Candi! I have never used Water soluble oils, they look thicker in application?
Thanks Dor!
Smiles :-)
Hi again Near Master! I knew about parallels and same heights in the horizon area of the paiting, but never even thought about it for the stems! I would have thought, if anything it was directional thrust! Better start doing some beginning art theory reading....any suggestions Michael? Thanks again for how generously you share all of your knowledge! P.S..We just got a travel trailer, would love to head out to CA for one of your workshops some day!
no such thing as a no no, but, until you and i become masters, we better stick to the script. ;)
Oh gee Michael, I wasn't even aware that was a no no! Thanks for your input!
Good work, but be careful about those parallel branches.
