Good observation Michael......I do want the center flower to be the focal point. Softening some of the edges of the other flowers into the background would pull the viewer's eye to the center flower.

Not sure about adding green in the background. I had hoped to tie it altogether with the rhythm of application throughout the painting. Always appreciate your critiques!

Good painting, Luba.  Choose one of your flowers to be the focal point and keep those edges hard.  The subordinate flowers ... soften the edges into the background.   To achieve more harmony, try casting some of the green color into the background .. kind of ties everything together.
