Thank you all for your comments! I'm so glad that you've been able to learn from this as well Jessica. I'm thinking of changing my lavender field too. I owe a great big thank you to Michael! And am happy to announce that it has a buyer already! She contacted me this morning on Etsy and I'm reserving it for her to purchase in a few weeks!

Great job Jennifer.   This painting reads much better to me than the earlier one.   Same sparkling color but much more punch to the focal point with great lead in now.   Stu

Jennifer, it's wonderful!  Your lead-in is nice & subtle & the building at the back is really a focal point, even with the bright colour in the foreground.  I've learned a lot through from this too!  Maybe I'll try painting another lavender field now!
