I wonder if you remember this photo of Michael Severin and I think it was Chuang Liu? when they went out painting, I think it was about a year ago. I have always wanted to paint them painting at the beach and at long last I did it. It is only a sketch so I decided to stop after 2.5 hours. It would be nice to get some comments my co-artists.

Ok Michael, thanks for that.  I am glad you "LIKE" your arm, you made my day.:)

Hi Steinunn.  I believe that Stu has a copy of this photo (he took them).  The small area I was referring to is the blue shape (the water) between the two hats and above the two paintings.  That shape sits up like a wall because of the high horizon line.  Hey, my right arm looks GREAT!! .....I knew this was me as soon as I saw the photo!!.  You really captured Laura nicely!!

Michael, thank you so much for your lovely comment, I wanted to paint this scene since I saw the photo and printed it on a copy paper only which did not come out so clear.  I tried to look it up again but gave up and decided just to paint my reaction to the warmness as I remember it from Australia when I was out painting (so many years ago).

I realize afterwards that the horizon  line was not correct but decided to leave it be as I was really concentrating on the emotional concept (I think the word is), I could not see any headland on my printout.  I might just go to it again and follow you suggestion with the horizon line.  But I really thought you might pick on you blessed right arm which I had a bit of battle with!  Oh, what is the "small area" you mentioned?

I am very happy getting your reaction to my little sketch and of course you may print it, it would make me very proud that you and Laura think so much of  it.  What is the name of this place?  Could you perhaps find the photo and send it to me.  Thank you again and Happy New Year to you Michael.:)

Hi Laura, thank you so much for thinking my little sketch cool!  I was really doing this for my enjoyment and seeing if people remembered this moment in time.  Was it you who were there with Michael?  I dont have the original or could not find it, my apologies if I had the wrong name Laura.
