Excellent atmosphere effect!!!
Michael, thank you for the advice to keep the path going with light behind the grass. I'm on it !
Thank you everyone ! I was alittle afraid to post this one because the light/shadow value plane problems. It was VERY complicated and I reworked it several times. Then I let it just sit turned to the wall for awhile. It was complicated and I appreciate your support now that you like it I can turn it around ! :D
Fantastic painting Ann, your colours sing!
Ann, this is just so beautiful! It inspires the viewers imagination. This is one of my favorite of yours.
Great! I keep on travelling virtually with your paintings! It's just great!
This is quite lovely Ann!! .....your use of color is so good. I am looking closely at the darks in your painting and how you handled the atmospheric recession ...everything melts back nicely. ...good job on that! Your sky is a prismatic wonder !! ..just a great painting. I would like to point out to everyone how you handled the path ..gradating from dark to light ..that moves you into the painting. Ann, where the path turns the corner, we do not want to abruptly end it there ..there is a name for that ..cannot remember though ...so anyway, just show a little more of the light on the path ..breaking through the grass at a couple of intervals. Great painting...I love it.
