So Ive discovered I have problems with seeing values when color is added. These little glasses I ordered were cheap ($8) and they help me to see the different subtle changes. The red just seems to cancel out the other colors. I just thought I would share just in case anyone else might have the same problem I do.

Cute, Manneherrin, thanks for sharing with us. Hope that you will not put it on for long time.
lol awesome Candi!
Just saw this on Facebook, it's a sign to form our club! :) All we have to do is tint the lenses red a bit!

Member of the Red Glasses club. LOL It is worth a try and I like the flip up glasses. I wouldn't worry about the UV because you wouldn't be wearing them that long. I'm using the red value indicator and my value chart with a hole in the value chart. It seems to be helping me recognize and interpret color in value. I remember Richard saying this was difficult but after a while we can learn to see it. Something to do with the way we see colors. I think it was on his DVD "Mastering Color". He really puts together the best teaching DVD's for artists.
LOL.. red sunglasses club hehe
Thanks for sharing Manneherrin, we'll be known as the Red Sunglasses Club!
Thanks !!!
Cool, good idea, thank you for sharing Manneherrin!
how cool are these? They are flip up lenses. I wish I had bought these http://www.amazon.com/zeroUV-Limited-Edition-Flip-Up-Sunglasses/dp/...
If you don't have red glasses ,a screen of red cellophane will do the same job until you'll get the glasses.
