Jane,

Hello to you from Los Angeles, California.  My opinion is just that, an opinion, so I'm not going to suggest "improvements."  Having viewed your current work, I think with your skills of today as opposed to a year ago, you should start fresh and repaint the concept from scratch. It seems its always difficult to change an older painting to make it better.  The concept deserves to be created anew using your considerable current skill level as an Artist.

Thanks.  Any ideas to improve this?  I painted it a year ago from a photo I took.  I think, maybe, I should darken all the background.
