Cuit chickens,  everyone of them has a good form and has their own character . Yes, Annie has her point, that small chicken with the red door form a shape you may not need it.  Your design is very good. You mainly used contrast concept, the value, the color, the movement, detail against easy relaxed brush stroke are all very well done. And most of all it is a creative work.

Hi Anne I think you have captured the scene well and especially the light Just one comment re the chook directly in front of the red door It takes the attention away from the old wrecked door which is painted so well. You got my vote
