Helena -   very good - the sky seems dark (lighten?) yet the hills light (darken?)

Stuart thank you for your postings!
I also think it really lacked a bit in warm tones (red) to give more warmth to image! Great observations, I have a few new touches to improve!
Thank you for the compliments on my work! big hug!

Helena, much different from your first painting.  I would try and warm it up a little.  Maybe it's just your lighting for the photograph, but it reads to cool for the sunlight expected with this blue sky, especially along the rocks on the right.  If you painting looks warmer, try changing your tint to a warmer white on your clouds or re-photograph it in warmer light.  If it is the painting, try glazing your sunlit areas with a warm and transparent yellow (Indian yellow would be my choice); you can always just wipe it off if your painting is dry.  Nice brushwork, good shadows, excellent trees; just needs to warm up a little in the sunny areas.  Stu
