Elena and Sharon, I know the secret to the water movement. On the coast of CA there are rip tides that move into the land in angles that oppose each other. When we are at the beach I make sure that my grandchildren are watching out for the rip tide that comes from another direction and can quickly knock them off their feet.

I guess you are right, sorry my brain gets in the way of your beautiful painting.  Richard's is the same way.  I think I will try another photo.  It's just me.  You have captured the light extremely well!

vibrant!  but in analyzing... the waves and ripples are going in perpendicular directions to each other... how is this possible?
