really nicely done! your soft background really makes the foreground pop
Thanks Siobhan for your comment on mine...it was very welcomed. I loved the way you made Ruakaka more your own - the subtle changes add an unique take on the scenery.
Lovely painting. It's good to see all the different versions of the same painting.
Lots of beautiful variety in your foreground, both colour, shapes & brush strokes!
loving your background hills and sky Siobhan, your foreground is very abstract and full of wonderful light - painting too fast is a problem i have - i literally have to keep telling myself to slow down and think about every brushstroke i'm putting down - i say things like "where's the fire" I used to think if i paint fast i'm bound to achieve something good and spontaneous - I am beginning to slow down and be much more considered in my approach - so many hurdles to jump in this game! :-}}
Siobhan, your painting looks very beautiful. Painting fast is my goal. I am trying everyday paint a quick one. Of cause, is not like this so much in it. Just a cup, a plate, a milk jar.... to make myself make quick decision and mix and move the paints faster. Difficult. Still trying.
You are quick and it is very beautiful. I like the harmonized colour of your work. The details of the far hill range are so well done.
