Nice work Harold - looks like you've combined two different lessons into one. Yes perspective is an issue with the wave lines. Looks like the little dude is about to get tubed, and without his surfboard! Beware the dark space under the foam - there's usually more light than you'd think within those spaces since it's all built of water and air. Take a good look at your reference photos for the bird shapes - very hard to invent these well without plenty of practice. Beautiful water work.

The translucent green light under your wave is very striking and looks wonderful.

PS:  Take a look at Mark Prices painting (right next to yours) ... note how his waves all culminate at a fixed vanishing point on the horizon.

Harald ...  you are doing the same thing that most everyone else seems to be doing with the handling of the waves.  Your waves should all go to a single vanishing point over there on the left ... which means of course, that each row will be straighter then the one before it .. culminating in a straight one at the horizon.
