..... into the Hall of the Mountain King (with apologies to Peer Gynt) but that's what I can hear looking at this very atmospheric painting.

Thank you, Peter! A few more comments and I may develop the incentive to face the cold and go out to my studio.... I really want to.... I was sick through most of December, but am now feeling all better and almost ready to get back to work. I really appreciate your comments.

I agree with Roena. The lighting is beautiful, the colours work really well - the foreground is so light and the blues and purples in the background make the scene just a little bit spooky.

I think I am into light effects so noticed the light. It is really beautiful. I had to just look and look - every area is just beautiful and so well done. Ro
