Hi Michael, Yes it need to be toned down quite a lot. I can do that with the UB and Burnt S, and in the ligther area use the yellow you suggested?  but don't use white?

Hi Sherri.  I don't think too dark, but maybe a little too saturated?

If I get time today I will try to add the shadows with the UB and burnt S, it is still way to bright. And like you said no white. I used the white on the board parts and the other boards that are going across the bottom of the boat. I am trying to stay away from the white in the red part. Should the floor of the boat be a lot darker in your opinion?

Hi Sherry.  You can use burnt sienna into your red  ...your red  + Ultramarine blue will give you the dark required for the shadow under the boat rib....no white.
