Well, re-tried it - oils over the top of the acrylic - trying to take Richard and Anne's suggestions into account....

Wow, what a strong contrast of colour! it makes the painting misterious. Your colours are rich and interesting , having a strong impact. I love it. One idea. the reflection in the water can be a bit more lighter, if I do it.I think that It will make the real building and reflection more distinguished. For your reference only.

Hi Jon.  Everything is very good except the water ...much too mirror like ...     You know Jon, you REALLY do not need to put the reflections of the windows in the water ..soften things up a little ..let the viewer fill the rest in ....give the viewer that opportunity.
