Very much my cup of tea, as a watercolorist I am crazy about soft edges and there is a lovely dreamlike quality about this

Hi Janet.  In Inness's later years, he painted with very soft edges ..plenty of lost and found edges, and close harmonies of value and color.  His later paintings had a mystical quality due to the soft edges of everything.  The soft edges have somewhat of a spiritual feeling ...like Inness's later works.  :))

I looked up Inness. Thanks for that Michael.  This photo is a bit different from the real painting - a bit blurred and lacking some colour - but I wanted to show that I was trying to understand colour relationships
