Hello,

This is beautiful. I certainly do not have the patience (or ability) to produce something like this!

I work PT at the National Gallery of Art in the education department. If you are a devotee of Dutch art, there is a free e-book talking about it on the nga,gov website. I found it interesting to learn that for the Dutch and Flemish artists producing still lifes, each item of food represented some larger meaning (usually religious), so the arrangements were made to be a metaphor. There is also a book entitled Food and Feasting in Art that discusses what each item of food represents. It's a good reference if you are going for hidden meaning. Very nice job!
