Thanks so much Richard, Sharon, I'm going to try and stick with 8"X10" seems to be my size and it's also so much more manageable at this moment, especially with the Workshop 9 landscapes.
Wonderful work, Denise! You made this look so dimensional and colorful. Beautiful!!
Great work again Denise - love the solid drawing of the orange - it's irrefutable. Great colours too.
Thanks so much Li. Just had a week of dealing with my taxes and how much I owe and I wasn't feeling very much like I rocked at all. You made me laugh and cheered me up, thanks so much. I don't know why it took me this long to find Richards video for this challenge but I did try to follow his set up and that helped, just watched the video the other day but had done this quite early into the challenge.
Denise, I like your paintings very much. Your paintings full of energy and personality. Your colours are fresh and satuated, and their combination has a strong impact on me. Your brush strokes are bold and full of variety and movement. In short, your painting has your own character. Very beautiful , professional and cheerful. You are also rock. Li
LOVE LOVE LOVE the colours in this picture ... so vibrant
Nice painting! Clear colors and great brushwork!
Well done Denise, beautiful work.
Wow Denise What a lovely painting. Beautifully done I am truly a fan
The light and shadow on the glass bottle are spot on. Your metal bowl is very convincing and the color of your fruit is nice and juicy. Over all a very good still life with realistic objects. I also like the happy daffodils, they add a touch of sunlight for spring. The only suggestion that I have is that I think the background color is a little too bright it comes forward instead of receding into the backof the painting. A slightly muted backdrop with some shadowing and light source would make the lovely fruit stand out and sing ! GREAT JOB!
