Thanks for all the encouraging comments. I wasn't able to do last months challenge and missed the video lesson on that. So it's amazing to me that I feel a little behind on the lessons and this is the first time I've every done oranges in a still life. What fun they are! I did a set up similar to Richards but I'm not sure that I've got the lesson figured out. So if there is anything that I'm missing I'd appreciate any ideas. I was trying to look more carefully with edges in this painting and understand more carefully how to use a variety of edges and the lost and found technique. It appears to be a big study and tricky with all these different objects.

 Cool, Denise!  I love the cool crispness of your lovely painting.  I somehow missed the assignment, and just realized that Richard had posted it.  I am way behind.  You must be so pleased with this.  Nice handling of the glass jar and the metal bowl.
