Yes, i will try to do better next time. It is so hard to concentrate outside and see things right or recognize what the painting needs. It needs some practice I think. Unfortunately in Germany the weather is quite unsteady this year.
Well done for getting out there, Silke! Yes, blue could introduce some variety + with green vegetation it often seems to be a good idea to get the complementary color in (so "red" = browns and oranges mixed into or 'between' the green/red-tone ground), I've also recently noticed paintings by artists I admire tending to 'grey' some of the greens, which got me thinking...
