Hi Jeni

Thanks so much for clicking on Like for my painting - much appreciated! I'm hoping to have more time this coming month to put in a proper entry - although we learn even by our "quickies" I think! Your painting is very peaceful and the water looks very chilly as it rounds the bend. Well done you!

hi jenni..i like your design...since you're using so much of the water in the foreground, i might suggest varying some of the values and color..adding some darks..brown, green - maybe warming up the rocks a bit in the foreground would help with the atmospheric perspective...one more thing - yellow is the first color to drop off when you get into the distance...the yellow in the mountains looks a bit out of place..you could grey those down with a complimentary glaze...i think you got a nice spotlight effect downstream!
