Thank you, I was mainly interested in the apple, so I just painted in the background very quickly. It was a trial in doing a painting out of two colors plus white. I had a bright green premixed from lemon yellow and cerulean blue and a primary magenta. It worked well. Only in the slices of the apple I had to use a mixture of the yellow, red and white in the very light parts.

Very nice! The simplicity of the background really makes the apple stand out! Beautiful form!
