Thank you Anna for commenting on my painting and thank you for the encouragement. I haven't looked this one for a while. Now I look it, it seems the face is too purplish, the color is too patchy and her chin seems swollen. Should I do something? retouch? Mm...

Glenys, the movie is really a very good replication of that time. The scenes from the movie, the buildings, the bridges, the people, the dresses, the color, the lights... they are like just come out of the canvas from Vermeer's painting. Love it.

Thank you very much Lori for your comment! I did not know her name, now I do. Thank you!! I like the movie 'The girl with a pearl ear ring' very much. I think Scarlet Johanson had more personality than the girl in the painting, so I kept the original design and the cloth from the painting but added her face, so the painting is a mosaic. It is a quite challenge.
