Love the limited palette, softness, off centred composition of the face, dappled background and brilliant fore-shortening, beautiful!

Love this Robert!!!   Great composition and harmony of color.  I like how you merged her shoulder with the light of the background .. a nice lost edge there and a place for the light on the shoulder to "escape".  Very lovely painting, has both visual music and poetry.  :)  BTW, great illusion of depth in your handling of the background!! Also, the illusion of light is portrayed very nicely by your handling of the values.
